The route encircles Sootopolis City, a city built in the interior of an inactive volcanic island, much like Route 122 encircles what is said to be the Cave of Origin's counterpart, Mt. Pyre. To the north of the route is Route 124, and to the east is Route 127. 	Cave of Origin The Cave of Origin is a cave near the north end of Sootopolis City. It was sealed off in the past 4 years with a rock slide attack and is said to be the cave where life begins.
