history; I woke up then, on that grave mountain, a
deep gash upon mine head and no memories to comfort myself
with. A fog set about me, about a boy of ten, and I could
see nothing but the harsh breaths that were mine, frantic
as my heartbeat. I found myself able to stand, but nothing
more, for the coldness around me in my still dripping wet
clothes locked my limbs into a hag syndrom. I stumbled
foreward, but my legs gave way. My hand shot out, and
found a solid service so I might get my leggings. I did,
and to look up I found a gravestone, marked with the image
of a sleeping growlithe. I wasn't frightened, but it meant
I was in a cemetary, and that comforted me. Dead things
could not harm me. At least that's what I thought at
first, 'fore I spotted a yellow glow through the distance,
two bright orbs like eyes framed in the fog. Then it was
gone, and I was left shivering.
When I called out I heard nothing, not even an echo, not
even my own voice to comfort me. I felt alone.
The orbs came again, and this time I felt fear, because
they were closer. Again in a flash they were gone. I tried
to follow them, despite my fear, because they were the
only moving things I had seen since my arrival on the
shores of this mountain.
"H-hey!" I yelled when I saw them again, only minutes
later. "H-hey!" a voice called back, that was neither an
echo nor human, but more of a metallic screech that
wasjust barely recognizable as words. Laughter cackled
around me on all sides, but then was silent and the yellow
orbs were gone, again.
I felt frustrated then. "Come back!" I orderred, too tired
to care if the orbs were the eyes of ghosts or the eyes of
a Pokemon, it was freezing and I was cold and though I
could not remember who I was, I remembered what a warm bed
felt like and what it was to have a stomach full of food.
The orbs seemed to realise this because now they were
right in front of me, face to face. I stopped, staring
wide-eyed at the small purple form a ghost. A ghost
Pokemon. "Shuuu," It squeaked and smiled. "A-are you a
pokemon?" I heard myself ask. "Shuuu- PET!" the ghost
laughed. Shuppet..? "Are you g-going to he-help
me?"My voice pleaded. The Shuppet seemed to think about
it, before nodding. At last I felt the first relief since
I'd landed here. "L-lead the way, Shuppet." My voice
stuttered from the cold.
The pokemon led me to a lodge.
"Shuuuh," It turned by the door, indicating me with a flap
of its gown like body to knock. "Thank-you, Shuppet,I m-
might have been dead if it weren't for you. I owe you, a
lot." Shuppet just smiled, it's yellow and orange eyes
blinking fondly. It faded to where only it's eyes
remained, and slid into my shadow. At least, that's what
it looked like the Pokemon had done.
It turned out the lady there had been the caretaker of the
cemetary on Mt. Pyre. She took me in, and tried to find my
family, but no one came foreward to claim me, and so she
was left to act as my grandmother. The Shuppet stayed with
me, and eventually my grandmother gave me a Pokeball to
keep him in. She told me I should become a trainer, and I
should go out and explore the world, and so I did. It was
some time later, after I had aquired a good number of
ghost-type pokemon that I heard of a job opening in
Mossdeep. As gym leader. I took a ship, and that's how I
got the job, almost as soon as I landed there (after a
series of psychic mind inducing questions by the old twin
gym leaders who were leaving for another region.)
The gym leaders had used Psychic Pokemon but I didn't
think ghost Pokemon would be too much of a switch. Of
course I'm no longer the little boy that washed up on Mt.
Pyre from who-knows where and for who-knows why, and I
hope that when I finally open my gym I'll be recognized as
a trainer to be reckoned with.

ooc; I believe he is going to come from Giratina's other
world and he just happened to find a portal there and when
he fell though he lost all memories of his home there. Of
course he'll never know it (most likely), so it's just a
little something I'd like to put in for him.

Cyrs has blue hair, doesn't he? I havn't seen the movie yet, but perhaps he's an incarnate-type human thing. He'll never find out, so we'll go with that.
